Our Story
Salon Persia began in 1972 as a small two-seat barber shop at 308 Thayer Street — founded by Mario Persia, a neighborhood fixture for over three decades.
In 2004, stylist Wassim Chedid acquired the salon. In January 2005, he transformed it into an elegant European-style haven: six chairs, two washing stations, and a level of craft Thayer Street hadn't seen before.
“They treat you like family, which is why I keep coming back.”
